LoveChester card Terms & Conditions
A LoveChester card is not proof of membership of any institute of education. It is not a valid form of identity for any other purpose.
Cards are valid for the period from the point of purchase in the academic year until October of the following academic year.
Entitlement to a Card
To purchase a LoveChester card you must be a registered student at an institute of education.
You must supply a valid email address and your details must be correct and accurate.
All information provided by you will be held securely in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
Information will be stored securely and neither shared or passed on to any third parties other than our own data processors.
LoveChester will use your contact details to send you information about student issues, activities, events and promotions.
Access to Discounts
Offers and discounts are arranged in good faith but LoveChester reserves the right to change or withdraw offers at any time.
A LoveChester card must be used to redeem any offer or discount.
To access an offer a student card may be requested by the retailer as proof of identity - in addition to a LoveChester card.
Discounts may be refused if breach of security or fraudulent activity is suspected.
Promotions, products and services offered by third parties are covered by that supplier's terms and conditions.
Refunds for goods purchased under a promotional offer will be based on the terms of the promotional price.
Cardholders may not assign, sub-license or otherwise transfer either their card or any of their rights under these terms and conditions.
There are a limited number of circumstances in which refunds for LoveChester cards are available, details of which are published in our Refunds Policy below.
Lost cards or stolen cards are not the responsibility of LoveChester and a replacement charge of £2 is applicable.
LoveChester cards remain the property of LoveChester; reserving the right to reclaim members' cards in the event of misuse.
LoveChester accepts no responsibility for personal liability at any of our retail partners.
LoveChester reserves the right to change terms and conditions attached to the card at any time. Terms and Conditions do not affect statutory rights.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and any disputes will be decided only by the English courts.
Ordinarily there is no recourse for a refund for LoveChester cards as legally they are personalised items and no statutory cooling off period applies.
Refunds will be offered only if LoveChester decides to end the discount scheme prior to the predetermined expiration date.
Discretionary refunds may be offered when a person can demonstrate they made a purchase in error and did not understand what they were purchasing within 14 days of the purchase of a card.
Individuals seeking a refund should contact LoveChester in the first instance outlining their case. Any refunds will be approved and transacted by the LoveChester finance Team.
The LoveChester card must be relinquished by the person who secures a refund.
